St-Laurent Academy is a dynamic and inspiring, Daycare to Grade 12, Private School located in Ottawa, Ontario.
We are growing significantly, recently purchasing a new school space in the beautiful Rockcliffe/Lindenlea neighbourhood, and are currently accepting applications for full-time RECE's and Daycare Educators.

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety while adhering to CCEYA and public health guidelines.
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program that meets the needs of children.
- Engage in planned activities alongside children, facilitating their participation and learning.
- Support and encourage children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth and well-being.
- Complete thorough documentation of children’s development, behaviors, and interactions regularly.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s progress and well-being.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training opportunities.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Daycare Classroom and common spaces at all times.
Qualification:
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) certification from an accredited institution (must be in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months).
- English and/or French.
- Experience working in early childhood education will be considered an asset.
